A visit to the Castle and House of Canons of Cardona. Taking as an example the Folc family of Cardona, one of the richest and most influential aristocratic families of mediaeval Catalonia, the activity examines the figure of the feudal lord, the extent of his possessions, the origin of his power, the stratification of society and the role of religion in the mediaeval mind.
In the magnificent Romanesque church of Sant Vicenç there will be a short dramatic performance put on by the students which will explain how it was built and who the leading figures taking part were.
Intended for children from 8 to 12.
