Comprised of musicians of diverse backgrounds who decided to come together to explore the chamber repertoire in depth. All four combine the quartet with their won thriving orchestral careers, which have linked them to ensembles like the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Camerata Bern, Da Camera, Dortmunder Philharmoniker, and the Orquestra de la Comunidad Valenciana. Following their initial concerts in Barcelona and Cervera in 2014, and despite their short career, the Dalia Quartet has already performed in renown festivals and venues, such as the Schubertiade Vilabertran, Enclave de Cámera d'Ourense and l'Auditori in Barcelona. Upcoming engagements include debuts at Petit Palau, l'Auditori in Girona presented by Ibercàmera, Fundación Juan March (Madrid) en la Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao and in Sofía (Bulgaria).
IVAN MARTÍN, piano
Iván Martín is considered by critics and audiences alike as one of the most brilliant pianists of his generation, both locally and internationally. He collaborates with practically all the Spanish orchestras and regularly visits the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Berliner Konzerthaus, Berliner Staatsoper, Berliner Philharmonie, Dortmund Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Salle Pleyel in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York amd the Beijing National Center for Performing Arts. Upcoming engagements include performances in the US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, Argentina and China, for recitals and collaborations with various orchestras and conductors.
ANDER PERRINO, double bass
Born in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 1986. He began paino lessons at age 7 and started tolearn the double bass at age 12 at the Jesús Guridi music conservatory in Vitoria-Gasteiz. He joined the Euskadi Youth Orchestra at 16, becoming its youngest member, and made his solo debut in 2010 with the Euskady Symphony Orchestra, interpreting Nino Rota's Divertimento for double bass and orchestra. Ander Perrino is the first Spanish bassist to play with the Berlin Philarmonic, as well as the first Spanish string performer to become a member of the prestigious Orchester Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker. Since August 2013 he has been a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, earning a permanent spot in February 2015. He has been a double bass soloist with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin since March 2015.
